Father, we declare with You, Your creation of us as men is very good,
though we have often fallen far short of Your Divine intent.
Restore us, Father! And give us once again a vision of what it means to be real men, and the true sons of God.
We live in trying times and many of Your sons have lost their way.
We rely on our own strength and wisdom, and fear often gets the best of us,
Either fearfully going from one task to the next, afraid to stop,
Or fearfully watching life pass us by, afraid to act.
Restore us, Father! And give us once again a vision of what it means to be real men, and the true sons of God.
Give us a deep purpose, to use the gifts You’ve given us to bring more Life to the world around us.
Give us a deep presence that others might know our goodness and glorify You.
And give us deep connections that we might be one, even as You and Jesus are one.
