God has given us each the ability to create and bring more life into the world. And we do this by planting our unique seeds – our craft, our art, our genius throughout our life and relationships.
Seeds contain the life force. Though small, they’re capable of producing much life once planted.
A mighty oak tree grows from one small acorn. And one small sperm unites with an egg to conceive new life.
But our seed is not limited to making babies.
We’re generative men and our seed is simply that vehicle in which we offer our life-giving strength to the world around us.
This might come through our work and the things we create. Making music, designing a project, and serving the needs of our clients are all examples of offering our gift of life to others.
We might also offer our seed through our unique insights – planting seeds of thought that open individuals to new perspectives and ways of being.
And certainly our very presence serves as a seed of life – uplifting and inspiring, renewing and offering hope.
Whatever form it takes we must be intentional about offering ourselves generously.
Sometimes we fear not having enough and hold back. But God reminds us his life force in us continually renews.
Our seed is not in limited supply and we can give freely and abundantly.
We allow the world to become a bit more impoverished when we hold back or waste our seed in selfish pursuits.
But the more we give of ourselves the more we also bring life and goodness into the world.
Generously plant your seed and cultivate the harvest of life and goodness the world is longing for.
