We work and love and build a meaningful life by faith. Even when we don’t see the end result of all our efforts, we trust God is working everything together for good. And trust leads us to action.
With the eyes of faith we see what has not yet happened and live with a confident expectation that it will take place.
Throughout the history of God’s people, we see them honored for their faith – a living trust that shaped and influenced their daily lives.
The same remains true for us. To live as honorable men and accomplish all that God has for us, we must also live by faith – and a faith that touches our daily lives.
By faith we keep showing up and doing the work that matters, confident God has given us a part to play in his larger story.
By faith we fight time and again for deep connection and intimacy. We trust God has given us friends and family to enrich our lives and to make us better men.
By faith we courageously enter into the messy areas of our sexuality, knowing it ultimately brings a goodness and beauty into the world that blesses everyone.
Faith gives us confidence and motivates us to action.
However, it does not guarantee that we will see all that God is up to in our lives. Like many before us, sometimes our life of faith is for the benefit of others we will never meet.
For example, our faithfulness in marriage may bless generations to come or even the stranger passing us in the store. By faith we plant seeds others will enjoy the fruit of.
In any case, we trust the larger story God is telling through us, even when we don’t see and understand it all.
By faith become all that God has called you to be.
