There are things worth fighting for. And our strength is needed to protect the good and beautiful throughout our life and relationships. In fact, our entire communities benefit when we embrace our inner warrior for good.

To be sure, God has empowered us each to be his force for good in the world.

God fights on behalf of his people and will not let evil have its way. And as we reflect his divine glory, we’re called to do the same in our own unique ways.

As warriors of light we harness our strength for a purpose beyond ourselves – seeking to set right the things in our life and relationships and align them with God’s goodness.

For instance, we might stand up to political and religious bullies whose grandstanding prevents people from getting the care they deserve.

We might also diligently fight to provide educational, financial, and other social resources for those in need.

Likewise, we might risk disrupting the status quo in our personal relationships in order to guide our loved ones toward God’s best.

While we are called to love, sometimes love is aggressive. And the mature warrior has learned to use his aggression for good.

Our strength is not used to bully and selfishly push our own agenda. Nor do we passively sit back and watch the good God has given us to be stolen and destroyed.

As the true sons of God we must embrace our inner warrior and courageously fight the battles God has given us.

Our communities are desperately waiting for us to stand up. And our time is now.

Remember the strength God has given you and fight the good fight.
